About your Role
The Senior Data Analyst’s mission is to maximise the value of data for clients and within the business. This role involves delving into data to uncover insights, creating engaging presentations, and promoting the use of data across the industry.
What you’ll be getting up to:
The daily activities for this role are diverse, involving both routine and project work driven by business needs. Responsibilities include:
Creating and updating dashboards and visualisations for clients Monitoring system usage and prioritising areas for improvement Training and supporting clients to maximise system benefits Handling daily data requests or client queries Managing the relationship with the analytics platform provider and optimising its use Contributing to commercial and business strategy
Additionally, collaboration with the data engineering team is essential for projects to enhance data capabilities:
Integrating new data sources to improve insights Exploring machine learning or data science techniques for predictive modelling and dynamic capabilities Supporting the broader data ecosystem for performance and monitoring Evangelising the value of data to internal users
About the Candidate
Possesses a deep curiosity about the world and is driven to make sense of it with data. Can connect data to real-world scenarios quickly and accurately. Enjoys discussing and explaining data to both technical and non-technical audiences. Is organised and methodical but flexible when necessary. Understands how data links to broader business goals and can prioritise effectively.
