About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable and curiousSenior Data Analyst to join Boku’s Business Intelligence team. You’ll be a key player in delivering insights that influence strategic and operational decision-making across the company.
In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders at all levels—translating business questions into data-driven analysis, uncovering patterns, and shaping our understanding of performance. You’ll work closely with Analytics Engineers and BI Developers to ensure the data foundations are robust, while creating thoughtful visualisations and reports that drive action.

Key Objectives
Translate business questions into analytical approaches and compelling insights
Identify drivers of performance , emerging trends, and areas of opportunity
Support dashboarding and reporting by building analytical layers that align with business logic
Partner with data and technology teams to ensure access to high-quality, curated data
Key Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to define business objectives, KPIs, and reporting needs
Conduct exploratory and targeted analyses using tools like Python, Tableau, DBT, and SQL
Deliver clear, actionable insights that support strategic initiatives and business growth
Design and document metric definitions, data lineage, and analytical logic
Collaborate with BI Developers to design user-friendly dashboards and visualisations
Work with Analytics Engineers to access and transform datasets for analytical use
Contribute to a culture of data literacy, transparency, and self-service
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate their experience or capabilities in the following areas—whether gained through employment, education, or personal projects.
Core Capabilities:
Strong data visualisation skills with tools such as Tableau , Power BI , orother data vis/reporting tools
Proficient in SQL and Python for querying, transformation, and exploratory analysis
Experience with metric design , KPI tracking, and performance reporting
Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity in dealing with a range of datasets, including HR , financial , customer , and executive reporting
Desirable Knowledge:
Experience working with enterprise BI tools
Exposure to dashboard automation , embedding, or performance optimisation
Understanding of data governance , quality assurance, and best practices in analytics
Familiarity with NLP , generative AI , or predictive analytics is a plus
Experience or exposure to data science and ML approaches is a plus
Comfort working in cross-functional, Agile environments
