Senior Data Analyst / Data Analyst - Team Lead

Are you a data wizard with a knack for leading teams and delivering impactful insights? We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst with leadership experience to manage a small team, driving data excellence and supporting continuous improvement in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

The Role:As the Senior Data Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our data operations, overseeing the day-to-day tasks of the Data Team while ensuring accurate and timely reporting of management information. You'll guide and support your team in using case management systems, and lead the analysis of key trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives that elevate service quality, efficiency, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Data Team, overseeing performance and supporting their development.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of management information reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), with trend analysis and projections.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, stakeholder feedback, and pilot proposals for new initiatives.
• Coordinate urgent and ad-hoc data requests, ensuring smooth workflow and workload management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, GDPR, and contractual obligations for data management.
• Manage Subject Access Requests and maintain the integrity of case management systems.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve service delivery and implement innovative solutions.
• Act as a key representative for the Data & Contract Management teams, supporting stakeholders and the supply chain.

You Bring:

• Proven experience in managing teams, with strong leadership and performance management skills.
• Expertise in case management systems and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to extract, analyze, and report on large datasets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to draft business cases and deliver insights clearly.
• Experience in process change management, including the design, implementation, and monitoring of technical processes.
• A critical thinker with a solution-focused mindset and a strong eye for detail.
• Ability to travel across England and Wales, with occasional overnight stays.

• Knowledge of SQL and modern slavery issues.
• Relevant certifications in statistical analysis or project management.
