Senior Business Analyst – Business Intelligence Focus
Location: Surrey (Hybrid Working, 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
Employment Type: Full Time

We are partnered with an innovative and forward thinking organisation based in Surrey, seeking to hire an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong focus on Business Intelligence. The Role: As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be a key part of the business intelligence team, working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and transform data into meaningful insights. Your responsibilities will include:

Engaging with business users to understand reporting needs and business drivers
Designing and implementing scalable data models that align with business requirements
Building and maintaining data warehouses to facilitate self service analytics through PowerBI
Managing and optimising ETL pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and SSIS
Enhancing data visualisation capabilities and driving best practices in reporting
Ensuring data integrity, compliance with GDPR, and robust data security measures
Performing database administration, query optimisation, and performance monitoring What We Are Looking For: We are looking for a Business Analyst who is comfortable working across both technical and business domains, with a strong understanding of business intelligence principles. Key requirements include:

5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role with a focus on BI and Data Analytics
Proficiency with PowerBI, Excel, and SSRS for business reporting and analysis
Solid understanding of SQL, DAX, and ETL processes
Experience with PowerBI data flows and deployment pipelines
Exposure to scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, or Bash
Ideally, PL 300 Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (not essential but highly advantageous)
