Senior BI Analyst

As a Senior BI Analyst you will be responsible for developing, enhancing and communicating operational performance reports that provide stakeholders with clear and actionable insights. The role involves managing and maintaining reporting and analysis platforms to support business decisions and drive improved outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a suite of reports, dashboards and visualisations across multiple platforms including Power BI, Snowflake, SSRS & Excel.
Maintain OLAP cubes, Power Platform datasets, data gateways & pipelines and SQL data warehouses.
Develop and maintain ETL processes from internal and external data sources using SSMS and PowerQuery.
Provide ad hoc data extraction from SQL Server to support business planning and analysis.
Support all areas of the business with data processing requirements.
Maintain SQL Server database objects such as Stored Procedures, Functions and Views to support all reporting requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and provide data-driven solutions to support business decisions.
Monitor and troubleshoot report performance and data accuracy and implement solutions to resolve any issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for all reporting and data processing activities.
Implement and maintain Power BI data models and ensure data quality and integrity
Keep up to date with industry trends and new technologies to ensure the reporting and analysis platforms are optimised and meet changing business needs.
The Candidate:

Customer Service & Process Focus: Experience in a customer service-focused, process and data-driven environment.
BI & Data Expertise: Experience with OLAP BI databases and PowerPlatform datasets.
Power BI Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Power BI (DAX, MQuery), including report creation and visualisation.
SQL & Database Management: Advanced in SQL report writing, including knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and troubleshooting legacy SQL scripts.
Microsoft Suite Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office, MS Fabric, and MS Excel.
Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong computer literacy and report writing skills.
Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a task-oriented approach.
