About the role

We wouldn’t be able to positively impact the way the world shops without our passionate team members – who keep our business running, our vans delivering, our customers' products picked and packed and our proprietary technology operating at optimum levels. Both behind the scenes within the warehouses and across the front end of the customer experience which means we now have an opportunity for a Senior Analyst – Data Visualization to join the team.


This role exists to transform complex data into compelling visual stories and interactive dashboards that drive understanding and inform strategic decision-making across Ocado Logistics and our retail partners. You’ll act as a subject matter expert, shaping how we present insights that underpin our journey of significant growth and innovation.


You will be – Skills and responsibilities

  • Leading the development of best practices, templates and guidelines for data visualization and storytelling across Ocado Logistics.
  • Using your expertise in tools like Tableau, Looker Studio and SQL to create impactful dashboards and analytical outputs.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements, build wireframes, and deliver clear, engaging reports.
  • Acting as the go-to subject matter expert for visual communication, coaching teams to improve their own reporting and presentations.
  • Championing continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned, promoting new techniques, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.


About you – Requirements to be considered

  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Analyst – Data Visualization or in a similar role focused on data storytelling and dashboard development.
  • Advanced proficiency with Tableau, Looker Studio, and SQL for creating clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills to translate complex data into intuitive visual outputs.
  • Confident in presenting information to stakeholders with a focus on clarity, structure, and engagement.
  • Comfortable building wireframes or low-fidelity prototypes to validate reporting requirements.

  • Intro Call (30 mins) – Speak with our Lead Recruiter, Richard Wandowski, to discuss your experience and find the right role fit.
  • Case Study Task – Short data analysis exercise for shortlisted candidates.
  • Interviews (1–2 stages) – Scenario-based, technical, and behavioural interviews, including a discussion of your case study.
  • We’ll assess not just your technical expertise but also how you deliver insight-driven analysis, explain the ‘why’ behind the data, and communicate findings using data storytelling techniques like the STAR method.
