We're seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior AI Research Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in emerging AI technologies. The focus is vehicle Design & Development (D&D) as well as general business use cases. The role is part of a team of AI developers, MLOps, computational & data scientists that build an AI platform - a suite of software systems - enabling rapid evaluation of proof of concepts and deployment of AI solutions to users through custom UIs or by integrating with existing software systems. This pivotal role requires a blend of expertise of R&D in AI & software architecture & development.

Requirements

  • Lead the research, design and implementation of SOTA AI models, tooling, frameworks and algorithms for core business uses-cases
  • Lead the optimisation by fine-tuning, pre-training, RAG approaches of AI models for general purpose like applications - LLMs, Stable-diffusion
  • Develop a systematic and effective framework to conduct R&D in building and/or evaluating AI solutions and emerging technologies
  • Oversee end-to-end data collection, cleaning, standardization and training preparation of diverse automotive D&D datasets, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Implement scalable machine learning workflows and orchestrators on-premises as well as in cloud environments
  • Ensure that AI solutions confront with Forseven AI policy & guidelines in terms of data protection, safety and ethics
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional group of engineers and scientists, and collaborate with product design & engineering, manufacturing, and simulation teams to embed AI models into existing workflows
  • Champion the adoption of advanced artificial intelligence-based solutions throughout the organization, demonstrating benefits and long-term value

Who You Are

  • Advanced degree, Master's or PhD in Computer /Computational / Data Science
  • Extensive experience, 4 to 6 Years, developing deep learning and/or transformers-based models for language and vision applications
  • Experience in building AI workflows, agents and UIs
  • Proficiency in using Python, PyTorch or Tensorflow, LangChain - desirable, open-source github contributions
  • Good knowledge of cloud technologies - aws, azure, and compute infrastructure - GPU & HPC
  • Good knowledge of software engineering principles in programming patterns, algorithms, data structures, APIs, CI/CD, databases
  • Great communication and leadership abilities, problem solving aptitude and ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
