Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the testing, deployment, and integration of impactful AI solutions, focusing primarily on Large Language Models and Gen‑AI technologies to solve complex business challenges.
  • Advance the use of AI within IG by building our next‑generation LLM‑based products, e.g. intelligent chatbots, document analysis systems, recommendation engines, automated insight generation tools, and more, using LLMs and advanced machine learning techniques.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimise third‑party AI platforms and products, integrating them into existing systems while ensuring security, compliance, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Explore a variety of data, from structured to unstructured, spanning client, operational, and financial domains to identify opportunities for AI and ML solutions to add value to the business.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to translate complex problems into practical AI solutions, from initial concept through to production.
  • Drive the deployment and ongoing optimisation of AI models and solutions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Building and deploying production‑ready AI/ML solutions using both in‑house platforms and third‑party AI services, with demonstrated experience working with LLMs and Gen‑AI applications.
  • Strong programming capabilities in Python, with hands‑on experience using modern AI‑frameworks and ML libraries.
  • Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, and implementing MLOps practices to ensure reliable, scalable AI solutions.
  • Generating actionable insights from complex and varied data sources, combining analytical thinking with practical engineering skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, explaining sophisticated AI concepts and technical trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders and building consensus around solution approaches.
