Our client, a top-tier hedge fund with a strong focus on technology, is seeking a Data Integration Specialist / Data Engineer to join their London-based team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and managing multiple datasets that power their research and trading platforms, as well as developing automated ETL pipelines to accelerate data onboarding. You'll also contribute to the design and implementation of the data framework, playing a key part in shaping their data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage large datasets used across research and trading platforms
• Develop automated ETL pipelines to onboard data efficiently
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the data framework
• Monitor data health and fetching processes to ensure reliability
• Integrate alternative datasets to enhance coverage
• Build data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1-4 years’ experience in a similar data-focused role
• Strong knowledge of Python, with experience in additional programming languages preferred
• Solid understanding of AWS services
• Experience with datalakes and databases is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with users and understand their needs
