Purpose of the Role:

The Proposition Analyst supports the development of our offering. The role’s purpose is to support the development of the proposition strategy, specific initiatives and pricing for the business.

The role drives informed, fact-based decision-making through business and market knowledge, data analytics, pricing modelling and research, matching segment needs and opportunities to business goals.

  • Working within the Proposition team be the SME on data and insight with a deep understanding of customer dynamics and the product set.

  • Working with the team, use this insight to support proposition and pricing development – identifying opportunities and risks, quantifying likely financial and customer impacts.

  • Lead recommendations on some initiatives through to completion.

  • Create, manage and optimise a readily accessible and robust data set for decision making - using customer data, competitor insight and market trends.

  • Be the lead liaison with third party providers of market data as well as in-house data teams and Finance to ensure the foundations for decision-making are solid, documented and continually refreshed.

  • Maintain the first line of Risk/Compliance defence by ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures that are designed to meet the regulatory standards set out in the relevant FCA rules and guidance.

  • Make informed risk decisions and effectively and credibly debate and challenge management recommendations within your role in line with the approved Risk Management Framework.

    Essential Experience:

  • Strong experience of the D2C platform industry.

  • Investment experience and understanding of markets, investor behavior and instrument types.

  • A background in using data analytics and data modelling to solve business problems.

  • Technical capabilities to include SAS and Snowflake.

  • Ability to use modelling software, access data data sources and optimize their performance.

  • Ability to work with third party research and data partners on specific and ongoing projects.

  • Ability to extrapolate conclusions from large data sets and then present these clearly to a non-technical audience.

  • Deep understanding of commercial drivers and revenue sources within the business.

  • Ability to work across the organization, developing key relationships.

  • Resilient and resourceful

  • Knowledge of working within a regulated environment and evidenced understanding of the regulatory environment and impacts

  • Clear written and verbal communication
