We are recruiting for a skilled Application Support Officer to join their Revenues & Benefits Application Support team. This is a contract role offering hybrid working, with flexibility based on your experience, location, and responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical experience in the NEC Revenues application, particularly system administration, to contribute to the day-to-day operation and development of essential digital services.

The Role
·Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for the NEC Revenues system, including managing system access, parameters, and batch scheduling.
·Support major processes such as revenues recovery batch work, and contribute to the rollout of new NEC modules (e.g., CA-SPA, Email Connect, Integration Hub).
·Deliver technical expertise to the business via a support desk function, resolving incidents and service requests efficiently.
·Ensure system uptime, performance, and data integrity, working proactively to prevent downtime and service disruption.
·Carry out application configuration, upgrades, and maintenance tasks.
·Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure timely delivery of updates, enhancements, and fixes.
·Support change requests, including adjustments required by legislation or operational needs.
·Maintain documentation, standards, and internal procedures to support compliance and quality.

Key Requirements
·Extensive hands-on experience with the NEC Revenues system, especially system administration functions such as batch scheduler and background parameters.
·Ideally, experience with NEC (email address removed) (document management) and NEC Citizen Access modules.
·Understanding of local authority revenues processes, including recovery and case management.
·Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and configuration skills across multiple modules.
·Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
·Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
·Comfortable working in hybrid environments, with the flexibility to travel into the Bristol office as required.
