The Role

As a Retail Analyst, you will play a crucial role in turning complex retail data into actionable insights that help shape key business decisions across stores, channels, and product categories. You'll be at the heart of our data-driven retail strategy - identifying trends, unlocking opportunities, and enabling smarter decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse large and complex datasets to provide insights into retail performance, customer behaviour, and operational efficiency

Develop dashboards, automated reports, and visualisations using Power BI and Excel to track KPIs and trends

Support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights on inventory management, sales performance, and store operations

Monitor and analyse transactional data to identify patterns and opportunities for optimisation

Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and finance teams to support strategic planning and execution

Drive continuous improvement in data quality, reporting efficiency, and business intelligence processes

What We're Looking For

Proven experience analysing large, complex retail datasets

Strong working knowledge of Power BI and Excel for data visualisation, reporting, and automation

Solid understanding of retail operations, sales metrics, and inventory management

Experience working with transactional data and turning raw data into actionable business insights

Strong commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
