As a result of our clients expansion plans, and continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Retail Analyst to be based at a prestigious Head Office in Plymouth.

About the Role:

The Retail Analyst will report into the Margin Protection Manager, full training will be provided for this position.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the successful roll out of store optimisation changes and initiatives
  
  
• Gather and analyze store level performance data
  
  
• Identify opportunities to optimise store layouts, merchandising, and product assortment to drive sales
  
  
• Provide data driven recommendations on best and poor performing products
  
  
• Collaborate with regional managers and retail teams to implement changes in stores and track their impact
  
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including buying, merchandising and logistics to execute store improvement initiatives
  
  
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators and measure the success of optimisation initiatives
  
  Knowledge and Skills:
  
  
• Degree or previous experience in an analytical / commercial position
  
  
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present data-driven insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
  
• Ability to work effectively with various teams
  
  
• Able to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  
  
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI & SQL
