The EUI Research & Insights Team drives strategic thought leadership and serves as a consultative partner to the Global Business Solutions organisation across the region through developing high-quality, thought-provoking deliverables. The team collaborates closely with external research vendors to plan and deliver world-class research that reinforces our market voice.

TikTok is looking for a London-based, full-time experienced researcher and thought-leader to join our EUI Research and Insights Team within the larger Marketing Science department. This role requires high-level expertise in research methodologies and strategic insights as well as management responsibilities and the ability to leverage data-driven insights to inform business strategy and impact.

In this role, you will focus on advancing the research and insights presence in the UK market, building impact, and nurturing relationships. You will also contribute to shaping team culture, processes, and strategic direction through involvement in the team council. Beyond leading research initiatives, you'll work closely with Measurement Partners, Data Scientists, and Marketing Creatives to align on key research questions and methodologies, emphasizing a data-driven approach that leverages analytics to create impactful, hypothesis-based storytelling at scale.

  1. You will lead, represent, and drive research and insights initiatives in the UK market, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and maximize business impact.
  2. You will regularly meet with department and country leads to understand market priorities, challenges and relay these into a strategic research plan.
  3. As part of the EUI team, you will also be responsible for managing multi-market research studies with internal tools and external vendors.
  4. You will be the UK point-of-contact for all things research.
  5. You will represent the Research & Insights team at the London office and at local industry events, webinars, or other places where your work can come to life.
  6. Reflect on and develop ways of working within the UK and EUI Global Business Solutions organization to enhance operational efficiency and impact.
  7. You will partner with cross-functional departments to strategise, streamline and develop new collaboration opportunities to drive impact and efficiency.
  8. Drive research projects, developing or adapting data analyses to answer specific research questions, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  9. Translate complex data into clear, story-driven deliverables with actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders, clients, and external audiences.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience implementing and managing insights programs for complex organisations and business for the UK market.
  • Experience with advertising research suppliers in the UK, Europe or USA is a must.
  • Experience with stakeholder management (ideally senior/leadership), building core cross-functional relationships and driving visibility or usage of research.
  • Proficiency with individual and group based qualitative methods, as well as quantitative methods that include statistical concepts and survey design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in a research field with a focus on quantitative methods; graduate degree's in a social science, mathematics, operations, business, digital marketing, behavioral psychology, or survey-based research methods is strongly preferred.
  • Experience presenting at industry events in front of a live audience and in webinars.
  • Evidence of leveraging research to drive behavior change and strategic impact within an organization.
  • Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with drafting and reviewing research contracts.
