Job Title: AI & Data Marketing Strategist

Location: Fully Remote
Pay rate: £55.00 per hour (inclusive of 38 days holiday pay)
Job Summary:
Data & AI is a critical driver of growth for the firm in FY25 with a target revenue of $5B, a 150% increase over FY24. The marketing work required to support this topic is broad and changing rapidly with high expectations coming from business leadership. This role requires an experienced manager who understands the topic (or can learn quickly) and can engage effectively with the business and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create integrated data & AI content strategy based on topic steward insights and business objectives, adapting as necessary based on evolving market dynamics
- Guide and influence data and AI narrative for the organisation, translating complex concepts and topics into simple, actionable messaging, focused on the ‘so what’
- Represent data & AI in the context of the broader Digital Core and Continuous Reinvention narratives working with the respective owners to align and adjust as needed.
- As Topic Steward, help rationalize data & AI events and programs based on business priorities and alignment to overall narrative.
- As Topic Steward Review and edit all data & AI content for the organisation, including gen AI and responsible AI, providing feedback, consolidating or recommending cancellation of content as appropriate/needed.
- Lead data & AI content development working across the business, M&C, research and industries to position services and perspectives in an engaging and aligned fashion across the whole of the firm.
Qualities that would make a good candidate:
- Adaptable and comfortable with vague direction, lack of clarity and consistently evolving leadership requests
- Diplomatic and pragmatic when managing urgent requests that often conflict with overall content/editorial strategy
- Must be comfortable taking a perspective on how to move forward in light of ambiguity
- Knowledge of the subject matter is helpful, but interest in learning about it is a must.
- External, client-facing content - POVs, research, blogs, etc. and supporting messaging for social, internal comms. Some data analysis but limited.
