Quantitative Researcher - Systematic Trading
Location: London, Dubai, Switzerland

A world-class systematic trading firm is seeking talented Quantitative Researchers to join their highly collaborative and innovative team. They have been described as one of the most collaborative and academic hedge funds and their equity group have had phenomenal returns over the last 3 years. Researchers often progress quickly into a risk taking seat, and work collaboratively with their ML engineering team. They are looking for an equity alpha researcher for EU and US markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, and implement quantitative trading strategies across global markets.
  • Analyse large datasets to uncover new alpha-generating signals and improve existing models.
  • Work closely with software engineers to develop and optimise the firm's trading infrastructure.
  • Continuously monitor and refine models to ensure robust performance in live trading.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Statistics.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
  • 2-6 years of experience in quantitative research or systematic trading.
  • Solid understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning techniques, and data analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
