What is the opportunity?An exciting opportunity to join as an Associate in London within quantitative investment strategies (QIS) structuring team.What will you do?Strategy Development:Design and structure bespoke quantitative investment strategies (QIS), leveraging advanced financial models and analytics.Develop systematic strategies across asset classes, including equities, fixed income, commodities, and currencies.Incorporate risk management, optimization techniques, and performance metrics into strategy design.Product Structuring:Create structured products linked to QIS strategies, such as index-linked notes, swaps, and other derivatives.Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure all products meet regulatory and internal requirements.Client Engagement:Collaborate with sales teams to understand client objectives and present tailored QIS solutions.Prepare and deliver presentations, pitch books, and technical materials to explain strategy concepts to clients.Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing ongoing support and updates.Market Analysis:Monitor and analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for QIS products.Provide insights on market dynamics and their impact on strategy performance.Collaboration and Innovation:Partner with quantitative researchers and developers to enhance existing strategies and create new ones.What do you need to succeed?Must haveBachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in equity derivatives/QIS Structuring.Strong object-oriented programming background: Programming languages Python (absolute must).Self-driven – able to cope in high pressure environmentGood presentation and interpersonal skillsTeam playerIntegrityRobust understanding of Equity Derivatives.Nice to haveFCA RegisteredOther programming languages like C++, VBA is plus.What is in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best - progressive thinking to keep growing and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
