Job Description:

I'm working with the CTO of a modern, market-leading crypto firm on a mission to build the most advanced trading infrastructure for digital assets and power global liquidity across CeFi and DeFi.

They're seeking an exceptional Quantitative Developer to join a newly formed high-frequency trading team. You will work at the forefront of low-latency trading and DeFi integration, contributing to the development of a new Rust-based trading platform from scratch.

You will join a team led by a renowned HFT expert and play a key role in designing and scaling one of the most ambitious crypto trading systems in the industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing high-performance trading algorithms for low-latency and high-frequency strategies.
  • Building and maintaining front-office systems for real-time data, risk management, live trading, and post-trade workflows.
  • Integrating on-chain data sources by connecting to DeFi protocols and real-time feeds.
  • Designing and executing backtests to validate and refine trading models.
  • Implementing risk controls such as capital limits and stop-loss mechanisms.
  • Monitoring live systems and troubleshooting production issues in real time.

Requirements include:

  • 2-8 years of experience in building HFT or trading systems.
  • Deep understanding of order books, order state machines, and market microstructure.
  • Strong programming skills focused on performance and low-level optimization.
  • Proficiency in Rust or strong C/C++ experience with willingness to code in Rust full-time.
  • Experience or interest in crypto markets is highly desirable.
  • Experience leading a greenfield HFT project in the crypto space is a plus.
  • Ability to work in an international team and environment.
  • Access to top-tier equipment such as a MacBook, 4K monitor, noise-canceling headphones, and more.
  • Comprehensive health coverage.
  • Participation in team offsites and social events.
  • Future benefits like gym memberships and international mobility are planned.
