Quantitative Analyst (C# SQL Mathematics) St Albans / WFH to £55k

Are you data savvy, with C# and SQL coding skills combined with excellent mathematics?

You could be joining a technology driven trading company with a flat structure where you will get your voice heard and can make a real impact on the bottom line, earning significant bonuses.

As a Quantitative Analyst you'll work directly with the Front Office trading desk to facilitate their daily trades on the Sports betting side of the business; you'll develop and maintain various internal applications that are critical to trading performance and implement programs to improve efficiency and profitability including using mathematical models to calculate the expected chance of events happening in a sporting event.

You'll be using C# and SQL and will be encouraged to develop your skills in other programming languages and technology with mentoring and paid for training, you'll be supported to reach your full potential.

Location / WFH:

You'll join colleagues in St. Albans, Hertfordshire (parking available), with the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

About you:

  • You have achieved a 2.1 or above in a mathematical discipline, backed by strong A-level results in Mathematics
  • You can code with C# and SQL
  • You are familiar with and have an interest in quantitative finance and are keen to develop your career in this field
  • You have an interest in sports with a good knowledge of rules of most major sports e.g. football, cricket, tennis
  • You're collaborative and pragmatic
