Quality Assurance Engineer - Aerospace / Defence

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading aerospace client of ours, for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join a leading organisation within the aerospace and defence sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Support quality planning and assurance across hardware and software projects

Develop quality cost estimates and support Statement of Work (SOW) compliance

Verify product conformity and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements

Conduct audits, manage non-conformance, and drive corrective/preventive actions

Participate in design reviews, production verification, and customer engagement

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote a Just Culture environment

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years? experience in Quality Assurance within aviation or aerospace

Strong background in Root Cause Corrective Action and Quality Management Systems

Production environment experience and familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., MAA, CAA, EASA)

Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)

Desirable:

Experience with data analytics and reporting

Exposure to flight testing, line maintenance, or Boeing processes

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
