Location: Europe-Based ( Office, Hybrid, Remote)
Position Summary:
Bentley Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Architect to join the Data Solutions & Optimization team. As individual contributors, Solution Architects will play a crucial role in optimizing the use of ProjectWise and other Bentley Infrastructure Cloud solutions. This position involves working hands-on with accounts, streamlining their data configurations, improving workflows, and ensuring the effective adoption of cloud-based data solutions.
Solution Architects will collaborate closely as a liaison between accounts and the internal product teams to drive optimal account and user outcomes, to provide best-in-class data management and infrastructure solutions. The focus will be on standardizing configurations, minimizing customizations, and helping clients achieve operational excellence through optimized workflows.
We will rely on you for the following:
Partner directly with accounts to guide them toward standardized and efficient use of Bentley’s tools, with an emphasis on ProjectWise.
Work remotely or, at times, onsite with clients to configure workflows within Bentley Infrastructure Cloud solutions, promoting standardized capability, while working to incorporate best practices from organizations to influence core product development.
Provide consultative guidance to accounts to ensure seamless implementation, adoption, and long-term value realization of Bentley solutions.
Review complex configuration challenges and recommend scalable solutions tailored to client environments.
Architect data integration within ProjectWise and other cloud platforms to drive capability.
Develop and document best practices for project data management, optimizing workflows to fit client needs while reducing unnecessary customization.
Serve as a trusted advisor to accounts on the appropriate architecture for data solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Act as a liaison between the accounts and Bentley’s Product Advancement Group to ensure user feedback informs product development.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize product enhancements and ensure solutions align with evolving accounts needs.
Assist in the development of training materials and documentation, enabling accounts to leverage Bentley’s solutions effectively.
Share knowledge and insights across the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Lead efforts to promote change management within accounts organizations, ensuring the successful adoption of Bentley’s solutions.
Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and value by implementing Bentley’s cloud-based solutions across multiple projects.
What You Bring to The Team:
10+ years of experience in data management, CAD platforms, or infrastructure solutions (ProjectWise experience preferred).
Minimum of 3+ years of experience building documented scripts (PowerShell experience preferred).
Ability to understand and optimize SQL Stored Procedures and SQL Queries.
Strong understanding of data architecture, workflow optimization, and cloud-based solutions.
Awareness of BS1192 and ISO19650 related to BIM, and the management and organization of information throughout a project lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Hands-on experience with solution design and the ability to troubleshoot complex accounts challenges.
Familiarity with digital twin technologies and cloud infrastructure management.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working directly with accounts and product teams, influencing both client success and product evolution.
Comfortable engaging with executive-level clients and internal leadership to solve challenges and align on strategic solutions.
This role will require 20% travel.
