Role: Business Change Professional Development Expert

Team: Operations

Package: Pension, Unlimited leave, Flexible working

Location: Remote working

Working Hours: Full or Part time. Minimum 3 days per week.

Role Overview: Corndel is seeking exceptional individuals to join our Operations team as Professional Development Experts (PDEs) to deliver first-class coaching and training for our new Business Change Professional Development Expert Level 4 programme. Applicants should have experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Business Analysis Consultant, Business Process Analyst, Data Analyst (with a focus on business analysis), Systems Analyst, or Change Professional. We are looking for individuals who have a good understanding of the intricacies, challenges, and benefits of managing business change and transformation, as well as managing teams that implement change.

As part of your professional development, we will support you in obtaining a teaching qualification; previous teaching/training experience is not necessary, but it would be an added advantage. You will provide first-class coaching, mentoring, and training to develop and progress learners working with some of the largest and highest-profile businesses in the UK.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a caseload of learners, mentoring, coaching, and equipping them to become better business change and transformation professionals.
  2. Customise our theoretical course content for each individual learner through regular teaching sessions and workshops.
  3. Support your caseload of learners in completing all Corndel training materials and assessment tasks in a timely manner.
  4. Ensure that each learner is actively working on their respective qualification and making progress.
  5. Collaborate with key stakeholders to support learner progress and ensure client satisfaction.
  6. Demonstrate a commitment to the values of Corndel and an understanding of the transformative impact of education.

Person Specification:

Minimum previous experience required:Mid-level Business Analyst or higher. Should have held a leadership or mentoring role previously.

Ideal level of experience:At least 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

Education and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Teaching qualification (AET Equivalent) and Coaching qualification.
  3. Advanced certifications like CBAP or PMI-PBA would be highly desirable.

Technical Skills Required:

  1. MSTeams, Excel, PowerPoint, Digital engagement tools (menti/Miro/Whiteboarding etc).
  2. Proficient in business process modelling tools such as Microsoft Visio.
  3. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).

Core Skills:

  1. Effective verbal and non-verbal communication.
  2. The ability to help learners set clear, specific, and achievable goals.
  3. Effective time management skills.
