Are you an experienced production planner? Have you worked in a manufacturing environment? Do you have MRP or ERP system experience? If so, our client, a marine manufacturer, is recruiting for a Production Planner for their site in Norfolk. Reporting to the Planning Manager, this role will be responsible for developing production schedules for multiple projects.

Job Description
·        Managing production planning activities, reviewing customer orders, and ensuring operational requirements align with on-time delivery goals.
·        Monitoring inventory levels, capacity data, and WIP variance to optimize costs and maintain smooth supply chain operations.
·        Liaising with internal teams to address planning constraints, resolve issues, and support the introduction of new products effectively.
·        Maintaining system data integrity, preparing reports, and participating in stocktake activities to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.
·        Collaborating with leadership to balance quality, inventory, and cost objectives while achieving customer delivery expectations.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
·        Ability to read and understand engineer.
·        Previous experience in a similar role within a technical manufacturing environment.
·        Detailed knowledge of production planning and scheduling, inventory control, materials requirements planning.
·        MRP/ERP system experience is essential and working knowledge of D365 would be advantageous
