We’re looking for an Analyst to join Algolia’s R&D organization to analyze customer behavioral and usage data across products. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work on and inform mission-critical initiatives that have a huge impact on all Algolia customers. Join our team and take ownership of key initiatives, work collaboratively with your partners, and drive it to success with a clear analysis and data strategy.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class insights to inform a range of products and features whilst also contributing to the development of data models. By partnering closely with product managers, analytics and data engineers, and user research, you’ll conduct analyses that inform high-quality customer experiences.

Your role will consist of:

  • Analyzing and delivering high-quality insightsacross interaction patterns, business data, and user behavior to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teamsto align business objectives with data-driven strategies, ensuring user-centric solutions.
  • Creating clear and impactful reports, dashboards, and presentationsto communicate findings, align expectations, and establish shared goals across teams.
  • Contribute to building data modelsby collaborating with Analytics Engineers to identify modelling requirements and contributing directly to the data modelling.
  • Working with other analysts and stakeholdersto ensure consistency and alignment of data across different products and features.
  • Providing data-driven guidance and supportto developers, product managers, and teams across the business.

You might be a fit if you have:

  • 4+ years of Data Analysis experience
  • Exceptional experience with SQL, Python, and R.
  • Strong understanding of data hygiene, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
  • Experience with modelling data using tools such as dbt.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you’ll collaborate across the organization at all levels.
  • Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams.
  • Strong communicator of data and the rationale behind methodology and analysis.

Ideally, you would also have:

  • Prior work experience on a developer-first product.
  • Passion for working collaboratively across a dynamic, international workspace.
