About Moonsong Labs

Moonsong Labs is a growing software development company at the intersection of Web3 and AI which includes engineering services and venture studio lines of business. The venture studio focuses on building software projects such as infrastructure, tooling, and protocols targeting devs as the customer. Examples of our work include the project Moonbeam, a blockchain that implements an Ethereum compatible environment and natively supports cross chain use cases. Tanssi, an infrastructure protocol designed to make launching decentralized AVSes easier on Ethereum. And Kluster AI, a decentralized large AI model inference and fine tuning platform.

The Venture Studio team

We believe we are at a significant inflection point in technology where AI and web3 are both set to disrupt the way we work and interact with one another and we want to position ourselves right at the intersection of these two technologies.

Our Venture Studio team is focused on investigating, researching, designing, and building new solutions to help drive web3 and Machine learning user adoption and improve scalability, usability, and user experiences with the ultimate aim of launching each product as a stand alone company to add to our growing network of Moonsong Labs portfolio companies.

Your Role

We have a newly created role for a Developer Relations Lead to join the Moonsong Labs Venture Studio team to serve as the bridge between our Venture Studio research and development team and a highly technical customer base. The Developer Relations Lead is a hands-on role within the Venture Studio responsible for understanding developer needs, use cases, and scenarios and bringing that customer driven knowledge back to the Venture Studio R&D team. At the same time, they will be responsible for distilling, explaining, and demonstrating key ideas from new Venture Studio projects to an audience of developers. And showing how new ideas from the Venture Studio could be used as solutions to uncovered needs and challenges. Ultimately, the Developer Relations Lead should enable more frequent and earlier developer interaction that will help improve product development, features, and roadmaps. The purpose of this role is to engage with developers to inform and get feedback on Venture Studio projects in the development process, to ensure a good product market fit.

The ideal candidate has experience as a hands on software engineer with Web3 and AI domain knowledge, experience as a developer relations engineer for a Web3 or AI infrastructure project, experience as a solutions architect that can probe and ask the right questions, or experience defining technical strategies. A hands on coding and technical background is key for this role, but the role also has a significant outward facing and communication component engaging with developers, and defining technical solutions. The ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easy to understand way is a core requirement for the position through creating content, live demonstrations and presentations, and being the voice of the customer to our core Web3 and AI engineering teams.

You will have the opportunity to shape and develop the developer relations function of a leading company in Web3 and AI space. We foster a culture of autonomy and taking action so we expect you to bring your ideas, experience, and knowledge to help us create lasting solutions.

This role offers the unique opportunity to join a company that is strategically positioned at the leading edge of the two most important technology trends in the market today. Reach out to us if you are interested in helping to drive a future, where blockchains and AI enable new, software native, and decentralized ways of coordinating and automating economic activity.
