Data Science at Sky

Data science is central to decision-making at Sky, influencing marketing, customer interactions, and customer service. Our Advanced Analytics team is scaling to enhance customer management across all lifecycle stages, delivering real value through insights from our extensive data assets.


Responsibilities


  1. Produce high-quality, actionable insights via advanced analytics and predictive algorithms, proactively exploring data to improve customer experience.
  2. Design and implement data science roadmaps with stakeholders to enhance decision-making processes.
  3. Collaborate with technology teams to build compliant, scalable solutions.
  4. Innovate and develop internal data science capabilities, forge technology partnerships, and foster team growth.
  5. Engage with stakeholders to align analytics solutions with business objectives.
  6. Identify appropriate analytical techniques, develop solutions, and measure their business impact.


Qualifications


  • Expertise in Forecasting, Predictive Modelling, Optimization, Clustering, or NLP.
  • Experience deploying analytics solutions in large-scale cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in deep learning with structured and unstructured data is desirable.
  • Ability to understand business problems and develop analytical solutions collaboratively.
  • Commercial application of data science to generate business value.
  • Experience with big data solutions on Cloud platforms.
  • Programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, SQL.
  • Knowledge of AI methodologies, including Generative AI and Reinforcement Learning.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, decision trees, and clustering.
