The unit is responsible formanaging the infrastructure of a data platform, along withpipelines and services that deliver data extracts and analytics.This includes processing and transforming a variety of datasets,such as metrics from online platforms, social media, media productusage, metadata, and historical data to create financial forecasts,etc. These efforts support various business teams by providing datasolutions and self-service tools.The team is working on building aself-service data mesh to give analysts better tools for exploringdatasets and ensuring their accuracy. The unit aim to buildfantastic tools for users and internal stakeholders alike, so thisis a highly impactful role.Responsibilities:Design and developshared infrastructure to simplify the creation, discovery, andconsumption of data products across teams.Implement and managesystems for access control, monitoring, and cost allocation toensure secure and efficient platform operations.Develop andmaintain tools for data cataloguing, quality assurance, andmetadata management.Create templates, guidelines, and tools tostreamline the adoption and migration to the new platform forAnalytical stakeholders.Collaborate with stakeholders to promoteself-service analytics, enabling teams to derive insightsindependently.Drive innovation and operational efficiency bybuilding scalable tools and infrastructure that leverage data andAI.Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance businessperformance and create revenue-generating opportunities through theuse of data analytics.Work collaboratively within the musicpublishing industry to empower data-driven decision-making andinnovation.Requirements:Deep expertise in Python as the primaryprogramming language, with additional experience in other OOPlanguages like Java or Scala being a plus.Solid experience inwriting and optimizing SQL queries.Experience in designing,building, and optimizing ETL pipelines.Strong background in cloudcomputing, particularly in areas like ETL workflows, orchestration,and permissions management.Hands-on experience in managing andmaintaining CI/CD pipelines.Advanced skills in writing automatedtests to ensure code reliability and robustness.Expertise inmonitoring services and implementing automated alertingsystems.Experience with implementing Infrastructure as Codesolutions using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.AWS cloudexperience is preferred.If this role interests you and you wouldlike to find out more, please apply here or contact us (feel free to include a CV forreview).
