We are seeking an experienced Principal Biostatistician to lead Phase I–IV clinical studies across the region, utilizing advanced statistical methods and collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams.

Position Overview

Our Principal Biostatisticians provide statistical and development support and influence for the associated client’s trials, offering expertise into processes, clinical development plans, concept sheets and protocols, and potentially providing oversight of work supported by other vendors. You will formulate an integrated analytical approach to mine data sources and employ statistical methods, machine learning and deep learning algorithms to discover actionable insights and automate processes for reducing effort and time for repeated use.

Responsibilities
  • Lead statistical input across Phase I–IV trials for the client, including development plans, concept sheets, and protocols.
  • Formulate integrated analytical approaches to mine data sources and apply statistical methods, machine learning and deep learning to derive actionable insights.
  • Develop automation to repeatedly refresh analyses and generate insights.
  • Collaborate with globally dispersed internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to solve critical business problems and deliver on high-visibility strategic initiatives.
  • Project manage own tasks, plan proactively, anticipate and manage change, and set stakeholder expectations as required.
  • Independently identify research articles, reproduce/apply methodologies to business problems.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Masters degree in statistics or a related discipline. Ph.D. strongly desired.
  • 9+ years supporting clinical trials in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and flexible, innovative leadership.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative mindset.
  • SAS programming skills for QCing critical outputs, efficacy/safety tables, and working closely with Programmers.
  • Knowledge of R programming (R, Shiny) and Python.
