Join an innovative Pricing team within a tech-savvy division who leverage data & analytics & modern technology to make advanced solutions. The team are highly driven to insure risks that other companies cannot, consistently pushing creativity & new product development. The new Pricing Analyst requirement is a reflection of the team's success & continued growth across commercial lines of business. They are looking for a background in statistics, data science or actuarial science, along with a strong competency in both Python & SQL.

This role is a perfect next step for an analytical thinker, who is keen to work in an innovative division within a successful business. You'll have the opportunity to work with multiple business units, surrounded by industry experts within your immediate team.

Responsibilities

  • Research & propose new pricing techniques
  • Explore & develop new rating engines, factors & tools
  • New product development in close collaboration with underwriters
  • Work closely with Data Engineer & Scientists within the team on workflow automation
  • Leverage wider team's data & analytics capabilities to drive new solutions

Requirements

  • Experience in Commercial lines pricing
  • Strong ability in Python & SQL including analysis in Notebooks
  • Desire for continuous learning on new technologies & modelling techniques
  • Team-player mentality with extensive collaboration
  • Ability to communicate technical practices to non-technical colleagues & stakeholders
