PowerBI Data Analyst

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Camden to assist with the appointment of a PowerBI Data Analyst, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £25.00 - £32.97 per hour

Summary:

As a Power BI Data Analyst at NLWA, you'll work with a variety of internal and external data sources to support decision-making across services. This role is central to our digital and data strategy, using Power BI and other tools to drive service improvement and inform strategy, policy, and design.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using Power Query, DAX, and semantic models
• Analyse and synthesise data from diverse sources to produce actionable insights
• Support data governance, data quality, and cleansing processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and communicate findings clearly
• Use statistical and analytical techniques to support business decisions

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modelling
• Ability to analyse and communicate insights from complex data sets
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data protection standards
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques (e.g. regression, clustering, sampling)
