Power Platform Developer - Part time contract

Type of role: Contract, part time - 3 days a week

Day rate: £550pd - £600pd inside IR35

Location: 1 day a week onsite London or Birmingham/2 days remote

Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with expertise in Power BI and desirably Orbus to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions that enhance data visualization, automate processes, and improve user interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Development:Utilize Power BI and Power Platform to create and customize dashboards, reports, and applications tailored to the OrbusInfinity platform, ensuring effective display of UTOM content to support decision-making.
• Integration Solutions:Develop integration solutions between OrbusInfinity and external systems (e.g., AssetWise ALIM, DOORS) using Power Platform capabilities to automate data flows and enhance interoperability.
• User Experience Enhancement:Design and implement interactive features and automation workflows that simplify user interactions with the platform's content, improving overall user experience.
• Performance Monitoring:Monitor and optimize the performance of developed solutions, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and addressing any technical issues that arise during deployment.
• Collaboration:Work closely with the Service Designer/Business Analyst to gather user requirements and collaborate with the Data Architect to ensure data accuracy and availability in developed solutions. Provide ongoing support and updates based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

Required Expertise:

• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and Power Platform (including PowerApps and Power Automate) for application development and workflow automation.
• Experience in integrating various data sources and systems into cohesive, automated workflows within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking in the design and deployment of technological solutions.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical team members and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and continuously enhance skills to meet changing project demands.

Outcomes / Deliverables:

• Develop user-friendly data visualization and process automation solutions that enhance user engagement and productivity with UTOM content on the OrbusInfinity platform.
• Create robust and scalable integrations that maintain data integrity and system efficiency.
• Implement continuous improvement processes for developed solutions based on stakeholder feedback and technological advancements.
