A global engineering consultancy at the forefront of delivering world-class infrastructure, energy, and transportation projects are looking for a Power BI specialist to join their growing team, helping shape sustainable and resilient communities through complex, high-value engineering solutions.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and proactive Power BI Specialist to support data-driven decision-making on some of the most complex infrastructure programs in the region. You will be responsible for developing insightful dashboards and reports that drive operational performance, track project progress, and support strategic planning across multi-billion-dollar infrastructure, energy, and transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualisations using Power BI to support project teams, clients, and senior stakeholders.
Integrate data from diverse systems including project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project), finance (SAP, Oracle), GIS, IoT, and Excel-based tools.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, project controls, digital delivery, and data governance) to understand reporting requirements and KPIs.
Support real-time project monitoring and automated reporting solutions for cost, schedule, risk, safety, and sustainability metrics.
Apply Power Query, DAX, and SQL for data modeling, transformation, and performance optimisation.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security protocols, and company standards for digital delivery.
Support the use of predictive analytics and trend analysis to identify risks and opportunities across portfolios.
Drive data quality and assist in the design of data pipelines and reporting frameworks for enterprise-level infrastructure programs.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Power BI development in complex infrastructure, engineering, or construction environments.
Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, SQL, and data integration techniques.
Experience working with large-scale projects in sectors such as energy, transport, rail, highways, or utilities.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle, project controls, or engineering workflows is highly desirable.
Familiarity with tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, or GIS platforms is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to translate complex data into clear, meaningful visual insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
Experience with Azure, Python, or R for advanced analytics.
Exposure to BIM, digital twin, or smart infrastructure technologies.
