OTI Team lead (50% Team Lead/ 50% SME)

We are seeking an inspiring leader with a strong technical background in operational technology to play a key role in the Digitalization team, optimizing OT, IT and DI systems. As an OTI Team Lead you will combine leadership skills with hands-on technical expertise in OT environments, systems and standards enabling effective management of digital transformation initiatives by maintaining deep technical understanding of operational processes.

Key responsibilities:

Support business continuity by collaborating with stakeholders and applying technical expertise to promptly resolve user issues while providing hands-on support within a small growing team.

Lead a team of up to 7 direct and indirect reports.

Plan, assign and monitor work to meet deadlines and stay within scope.

Ensure team members are qualified, trained and aligned with quality and data integrity standards.

Monitor safety, quality and EHS performance for your team.

Proactively identify and successfully implement process and technical improvements, leveraging deep OT knowledge.

Manage collaborator relationships and communication through effective channels.

Support the business and digital transformation initiatives with a clear technical understanding of OT systems and processes.

Key requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Information Technology or Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience with laboratory and/or automation systems and their IT infrastructure, including practical knowledge of VMWare.

Strong understanding of Computer Systems Validation, IT security principles and communication protocols.

Knowledge of enterprise architecture, networks, servers and routing systems.

Experience with OT systems including operational technology, OT-IT integration and relevant protocols.

Strong technical expertise in OT environments with practical knowledge of operational processes and infrastructure.

Familiarity with GxP requirements and regulations for OT systems.

Proven leadership qualities, empathy and a solutions and teamwork centered approach.

The role requires hands-on experience with OT systems and operational processes in addition to leadership skills.
