Operations Compliance Lead

We’re seeking an Operations Compliance Lead to join a high-impact team driving performance across quality, safety, cost, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead compliance and delivery systems across manufacturing operations

  • Manage GMP documentation flows for batch release processes, including BMRs, forms, protocols, logbooks, and MIAFs

  • Track and manage internal audits, walkrounds, observations, and follow-up actions

  • Monitor and trend performance metrics, KPIs, and documentation compliance

  • Oversee process documentation updates such as SOPs, BMRs, and work instructions

  • Support and lead investigations into deviations and safety events

  • Ensure timely and right-first-time (RFT) closure of all GMP documentation

  • Champion a culture of data integrity, Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and GMP compliance

    Core Competencies:

  • Systems Thinking: Understand how operational systems interrelate and drive holistic improvements

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Strong skills in acquiring, analysing, and presenting data to inform decisions

  • Planning & Organisation: Skilled in setting objectives, allocating resources, and delivering on timelines

  • Problem Solving: Able to identify root causes, propose solutions, and facilitate cross-functional resolution

  • Change Management: Confident in leading and embedding change initiatives across teams

  • Influencing Skills: Adept at engaging stakeholders at all levels to drive best practices

  • Professional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and documentation skills

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree (or HNC/HND) in Science or Engineering

  • Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical product manufacturing

  • Strong background in GMP-regulated operations and quality systems

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a results-driven, team-focused environment

  • In-depth understanding of GMP and Data Integrity standards
