What you will bedoing: In this role, you will be part of the data office leadershipteam as the owner of the data architecture for the group,delivering new designs and changes to existing business datasolutions identified and agreed business requirements, providingleadership and guidance on data architecture. This is anopportunity to shape the Architecture practice of the Group througha large scale banking transformation. Your responsibilities willinclude… Establishing data architecture frameworks, standards andpatterns that ensure consistent Bank-wide storage, consumption, anddistribution of dataCollaborating with stakeholders at all levelsto educate and raise awareness of the Bank's target dataarchitecture and helping to champion the move to a data-centricapproachPreparing, presenting and effectively communicating on dataarchitecture issues and trends to senior forums and managementcommitteesDefining and maintaining the target data architecture androad map (including the build out of enterprise data platforms andincreased use of cloud technologies)Recruiting and leading a smallbut high performing team of data architects and dataanalystsWorking with clients, existing asset owners & theirservice providers and non BI development staff to clarify anddeliver work stream objectives in timescales that deliver to theoverall project expectations Travel will be expected to our Chathamand Wolverhampton offices with presence in London being required ona more frequent basis In return for your commitment: We offer abase salary dependent on experience of between £100,000 - £120,000and a competitive benefits package including: 30 days annual leaveallowance£7,500 car allowanceDiscretionary annual bonus opportunityof up to 40%Annual LTIP opportunity of up to 40%Contributorypension (8% employer 5% employee)Life Assurance (4x salary) plusGroup Income ProtectionAccess to Private Medical Insurance andMedical Cash PlanMaternity & Adoption Leave - OccupationalMaternity/Adoption Pay provided at 100% of salary for the first 26weeksPaternity Leave - 8 weeks of paid leave to be taken within 12months of birth or adoptionAdditional benefits such as Hybridworking, Cycle Purchase scheme, Technology Purchase scheme, SeasonTicket Loan, Holiday purchase / sell schemes, Employee PerkPortals, Payroll giving and Save as you Earn scheme Could you bethe one?We are looking for talented individuals who have theexperience and knowledge set out below:Experience working at asenior level within a data architecture environment preferablywithin Financial ServicesProficiency in data architecture,governance frameworks, and a deep understanding of datatechnologies and platformsPrevious experience in cloud datatransformation with Azure would be advantageousSignificantexperience of delivering presentations in forums and managementcommitteesLine management experience of a technical team acrossmulti sites is essential We also believe that your career and howyou progress is as unique as your individual personality.
