Online Marketing Data Executive

  • 100% onsite role, based in Halifax (West Yorks.)

    We are delighted to be supporting a very highly regarded manufacturing business, in their search for a new Marketing Data Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail focused, articulate and conscientious candidate looking to progress their career in Marketing, as part of a really lovely team.

    This is a new role, available due to consistent business growth, where you will take on responsibility for ensuring the accuracy, organization, and availability of product data across multiple platforms, including internal systems, e-commerce, and customer-facing channels. You will drive data integrity, product information optimisation, and collaborate cross-functionally to support new product launches.

    Key duties will include:

  • Collaborate closely with Commercial and Product teams to gather and update product specifications
  • Support e-commerce, retailers, and digital partners by providing accurate product data and digital assets
  • Manage product descriptions, technical specifications, imagery, and other key data points
  • Manage the coordination of product data during new product launches and discontinuations
  • Implement processes to enhance product findability and SEO performance by ensuring product metadata is well-structured
  • Maintain the Product Information Management (PIM) system to ensure all product data is accurate, complete, and up to date
  • Aid in the configuration and maintenance of PIM/DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring consistent data standards across systems

    In order to be considered, you need to have:

  • Previous experience in a data focused marketing role
  • Experience in using a PIM system - (Akeneo or similar)
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Good knowledge of how to develop website data and content to maximise visitor numbers
  • Confident communication skills at all levels of authority
  • Experience of adding and editing content on a website CMS system
  • An interest in online marketing in particular ecommerce and marketplaces

    This is a fully onsite role, based in Halifax, with an annual salary of £25,000 to £30,000 p.a. dependent on experience.
