The Role

As anOMS Solution Architectyou will define the overall solution design and use different architectures including business architecture, application architecture, data architecture, integration architecture and technical architecture. You will stage technical workshops and work toward desired outcomes. In this role you will Lead the LLLD (Low Level Design) with the designers and review it in-depth and ensure the implementation of the solution is in alignment with the overall solution design.


Key responsibilities:

Discovery Phase:


  • Enable team to gather requirements and document as per industry standards.
  • Analyze the requirements as per latest Sterling OMS product fitment
  • Maximize the use of the product to increase ROI for the customer
  • Guide the stakeholder on requirements and its alignment with product to bring the maximum out of the product
  • Correlation b/w Business and technology aspects


Design Phase:


  • Present overall solution design to Architecture Governance Body and get the required approval
  • Draft KDD (Key Design Decision), present to AG Body and get it approved.
  • Define the Technology and components Roadmap for the overall solution.
  • Discuss with the product vendor for any product level discussion, agreement and other help.


Implementation Phase:


  • Lead and mentor the team in design and build phase
  • During implementation phase, ensure any architecture or design changes are being communicated with required stakeholders and get approved on time.
  • Ensure the implemented solution passes through all testing phases.
  • Address any open architecture and technical queries for different stakeholders.


Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:


  • Extensive overall IT experience
  • Experience in Architecture of OMS Systems.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring team.
  • Strong experience of 2+ implementation of IBM Sterling OMS for medium to large retailers.
  • Strong Retail Specific Order Management System Domain Experience
  • Strong Retail Commerce Domain Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Order Management Foundation modules of Distributed Order Management, Supply Collaboration, Inventory Visibility, Payment Processing, Reverse Logistics.
  • Strong experience in analyzing technical architecture and designing business modules using OMS API's and Services.
  • Strong design and build experience for IBM Sterling OMS and IBM Sterling Call Centre application including all type of product customization.
  • Good experience to CI-CD processes and sound knowledge of IBM Sterling OMS and Call Centre for process including Build & Deployment.
  • Experience in staging technical workshops and leading audiences toward desired outcomes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder mgmt. skills
  • Correlation b/w Business and technology aspects.


Desirable


  • Experience in L2/L3 Support for IBM Sterling OMS and Call Centre applications
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
  • Experience of working with collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Motivation to never stop learning in the omni-channel order management space.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work alone or to contribute as a team member.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
