Are you ready to have your career take off by playing a key role as an Occupational Hygienist for a rapidly expanding employee-owned consultancy?

Irwin and Colton are excited to announce that we are recruiting for an Occupational Hygienist for a well-respected environmental consultancy in the Oxfordshire region. With a growing portfolio of projects, they are searching for someone to join their developing team to support site assessments, data interpretation and consultancy reporting across a wide variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities of an Occupational Hygienist includes:

Developing and implementing industrial hygiene programs, including air sampling, exposure monitoring, and containment testing.
Conducting qualitative and quantitative risk assessments related to dust, solvent exposure, noise, and LEV testing
Supporting on enquiries and quotations for new work and projects.

The Successful Occupational Hygienist requires:

Ideally 1-2 years of experience in occupational hygiene or a site-based environmental monitoring position
Hold a qualification within a related field i.e. Environmental Science or Occupational Hygiene to an A level or equivalent as minimum. A degree level would be ideal or a BOHS membership.
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
