<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif"> 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Develop practical NLP and Generative AI solutions for the financial services industry, working with both document and conversational data. Design and implement NLP components leveraging large language models (LLMs) to solve real-world challenges in text and speech analysis, focusing on data integration, evaluation, deployment, and performance optimization. Collaborate with a team of AI experts, full stack engineers, and product managers to integrate AI solutions into scalable cloud-based applications, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met to deliver impactful results for financial services use cases.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Responsibilities:

  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Develop NLP Components<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Utilise general NLP techniques and Generative AI to design and implement key NLP components for products, addressing specific tasks such as information extraction, text classification, summarization, and other language processing tasks.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Build and Evaluate GenAI Solutions<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Leverage Cloud services such AWS and Azure  services to build, test, and optimise Generative AI models and solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and scalability.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Code Development & Review<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Write, review, and maintain production-quality Python code for NLP applications, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and efficient code.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Enhance Scalability and Observability<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Optimize NLP solutions to be more scalable, observable, and resilient, with a focus on improving performance and monitoring in production environments.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Stakeholder Communication<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders and clients regarding NLP components of projects, clearly communicating progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">AI Problem Solving<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Translate complex, subjective business problems into actionable AI solutions, leveraging NLP techniques to drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Collaboration with Teams<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Collaborate effectively with NLP specialists, full-stack engineers, product managers, and other team members to ensure the successful integration of NLP components into products.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Lead Client Projects & POCs<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Lead client-facing projects, including running proof-of-concept (POC) projects, and working closely with clients to tailor NLP solutions to their needs.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Continuous Improvement<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Stay updated on the latest trends in NLP and Generative AI, and actively contribute to the improvement of internal processes and NLP solution capabilities.
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Documentation & Knowledge Sharing<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">: Document solutions, best practices, and key learnings, sharing knowledge and providing mentorship to team members where necessary


Requirements

<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">:
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Degree in Computer Science or related field


<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Industrial experience using ML and GenAI to build NLP components for products
<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience with prompt engineering
<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience writing, reviewing, and maintaining production-quality Python code for NLP applications
<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience deploying ML and LLMs in production
<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience working with serverless framework in AWS 
<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience translating complex, subjective business problems into actionable AI solutions

<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Desirable
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience working on FinTech
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience developing ML models
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience fine-tuning LLMs
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience leading client-facing projects
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">MsC in Computer Science or related field
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Experience with infrastructure as code frameworks like AWS CDK
<span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Skills:
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Excellent python skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif">Excellent written and verbal communication skills
