Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail orientated Network Associate, responsible for making sure that all our retailer collections are completed seamlessly, that our nights run smoothly and that the delivery team are setup for success in the daytime.
They will need to bring a positive and friendly attitude and have a high propensity to learn and develop. They will also need to be flexible on working hours, comfortable working evenings and weekends as required to ensure there is the necessary contact time with all shift patterns.
All Operations roles at HIVED primarily based at our depot in Woolwich and will require weekend working. This this is shift based role, and the shift pattern may change over time.
Responsibilities
Routing
- Conduct routing on a daily basis for all of our parcels out for delivery the next day in accordance with the Network plan
- Hit KPI’s and targets for routing whilst balancing route durations in line with legal limits and driver efficiency targets
Capacity and Planning Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing collections related inquiries, concerns, and support needs from our retailers
- Manage and monitor the night time collections network to ensure all time slots are hit and collections are completed this also involves making sure our multi-site operations also run seamlessly from an planning and execution perspective
- Liaise and manage with our third party network partners, with accountability for day to day collaboration and pro-active suggestions for improvements to ways of working
Manage driver performance
- Conduct regular assessments to understand how our drivers are performing, giving feedback and helping our driver team to keep improving
- Review reports and data and identify areas of improvement for the business
- Deal with all driver related queries and issues
Collections Driver Engagement & Support
- Be first point of contact with collections drivers to ensure that they are on-time and supported in their work
- Manage and resolve inbound driver queries promptly, demonstrating a deep understanding of operational dynamics and offering timely solutions, including escalating queries requiring specialists where/when required
- Manage the collections driver pool, including training remotely based workers at our other sites
- Collaborate with the wider operations team including fleet to support a seamless off-boarding process for departing drivers, maintaining positive relationships and gathering valuable feedback for continuous improvement

- Tech-Savvy & Adaptable:Comfortable with various software systems, quick to learn new tools
- Great people skillswith ability to build rapport but not afraid to have difficult conversations when needed with courage and compassion
- CPC preferred or past experience in haulage
