The Role:

The Best Connection Group Limited is looking to appoint a National Sales Manager to join our highly successful and expanding Aviation division. The core function of the role is to build relationships with prospective customers, arrange meetings and progress to proposals and tenders. You will be selling our industry leading recruitment services and supporting our extensive branch network to identify good business and generate leads for volume sales opportunities within the Aviation sector. This role requires a consultative approach to all aspects of the sales cycle.

Other key aspects of the role include:

  1. Working with our national branch network to identify, pursue, and develop potential sales opportunities across all UK airports.
  2. Gather key business intelligence and analyse data to fully understand your client’s requirements and challenges to then present proposals.
  3. Maintain and develop strong client relationships, understanding and selling the features and benefits of the service to defend and expand existing business.
  4. Managing and inputting Tenders via RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for proposal) procurement processes.
  5. Manage tender process from start to finish and hand over to operations efficiently.
  6. Taking responsibility to fully understand and ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled in line with client expectations.

The Package:

Annual salary of £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
Company car or car allowance of £5400 to £6000 depending on experience.
Initially you will be entitled to 30 days paid holiday per annum, rising to 33 days after a year’s employment inclusive of statutory holidays.

The Person:

Essential Criteria:

  1. Extensive experience and knowledge of the Aviation sector with an established network of contacts.
  2. Results and target driven.
  3. Full UK driving license.
  4. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills and able to influence buying decisions.

Desirable Criteria:

  1. Proven experience within the aviation recruitment sector - this could be as an experienced Manager or Business Development specialist.
  2. Have a proven background in client development and a track record of sales achievements within the Aviation sector.

Hours of Work:

Your working week will consist of 40 hours Monday - Friday with 1 hour’s lunch break each day. This is a field-based role which requires National travel. The ideal candidate will be ideally located within a commutable distance of our prospective clients based at major London airports.
