We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to join Quilter’s growing Change team in an exciting newly created role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MS Dynamics CRM technology and a deep understanding of functional consulting.
This role involves working closely with Quilter High Net Worth and Quilter Affluent business stakeholders, Change & Technology colleagues to understand core business drivers and technological needs, to design functional solutions that enhance business processes, drive operational efficiency, and enable delivery of desired business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input to the future Quilter MS Dynamics Target Operating Model, providing advice regarding best practice MS Dynamics operating model design.
  • Work with key business stakeholders to help define propositions, plan, and manage the Quilter MS Dynamics product development roadmap.
  • Provide up-to-date Market expertise of current technological trends and advancements as required.
  • Be an SME in Quilter MS Dynamics functionality and apply this understanding to help Quilter HNW and Affluent propositions define optimal functional solutions that maximise strategic business outcomes.
  • Make informed design decisions guided by relevant Quilter policies and Design Authorities to achieve strategic, customer and operational goals.
  • Act as a liaison between business areas, Head of Strategic Design, and Technology Architecture and Development teams on Dynamics 365 projects (implementations, customisations, migrations, and more). The Functional Consultant is ultimately responsible for ensuring the proposed solution design meets the desired business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and document desired business outcomes, to facilitate requirements definition and functional solution design.
  • Execute business process and solution design workshops utilising documented Functional requirements or Epics / User Stories / Tasks as required.
  • Using analysis define the MS Dynamics data model and the relationships between such and the wider Quilter data architecture.
  • Design and implement business and technology solutions that align with organisational goals.
  • Functional Design Document (FDD), Data Migration Specification, and System Integration Specification development and approval.
  • Provide review and quality assurance of Technical Solution Design documentation.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing, defect verification and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Train and support business stakeholders in the use of innovative technology solutions.
  • Support implementation phase and warranty phase of associated projects.

About You

  • You will have strong and demonstrable Microsoft Dynamics CRM/D365 Project Management, Business Analysis, Technical Lead, D365 Functional Consultant experience.
  • Associated Microsoft Dynamics Functional Consultant certification advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge and/or certification on Project Management and different Project Management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum etc.
  • Able to support multiple large projects (6-18 months) with advanced organisational skills.
  • Up-to-date understanding of business processes, issues, and technology especially related to the operation of financial and investment advice, sales, marketing, and customer service departments within a Financial Services Wealth Management organisation.
  • Strong presentational and process modelling skills (for building the necessary pictures, working with architecture models).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Professional demeanour & strong interpersonal skills.
  • Feels comfortable talking with stakeholders at all levels of within an organisation and able to take ownership for an outcome on behalf of business stakeholders with focus on good customer outcomes.
  • Ability to balance short-term demands while maintaining the long-term vision needed to guide business stakeholders through the implementation process.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team, with a solution and delivery focused work ethic.
  • Excellent firsthand problem-solving, analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask, be meticulously organised, and able to prioritise multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
