The Role
Seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Responsibilities include developing complex data pipelines and data-processing systems to enhance aerodynamics development for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing solutions to address technical challenges and contribute to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
- Architect, design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for large datasets.
- Integrate data from various platforms and systems (on-prem and cloud).
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency through validation and monitoring.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- 5+ years in data engineering or related fields.
- Proficient in Python, C++, Java.
- Experience with Kafka, Flink, Databricks.
- Knowledge of distributed systems management (e.g., SLURM, LSF).
- Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Master’s degree in relevant fields.
- Experience in motorsports industry.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, security.
- Experience with HPC architecture and Data Acquisition systems.
- Experience with live streaming data pipelines.
