Position Summary

Are you a dynamic, passionate, and innovative Data and Infrastructure Engineer? We are transforming the landscape of scientific research through Machine Learning and looking for a team player like you to make a groundbreaking impact. Join us in this exciting journey as you collaborate with our expert data science, engineering, and biology teams, intricately weaving together robust data pipelines and platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with data science, engineering, and biology teams to design and implement scalable data infrastructure solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines leveraging AWS services.
  • Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance aligns with best practices.
  • Streamlining data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Creating user workflows to promote FAIR data best practices.
  • Actively participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional projects.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving data infrastructure issues.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with AWS Data services and Infrastructure
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of data lake and warehousing concepts and analytics services.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver results is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with bio and cheminformatics data.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering and infrastructure.
  • Available to travel if/when needed.
