The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedMethodology Statisticianto join the Global Biostatistics team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and advancing innovative statistical methodologies to optimize our clinical trial strategies across all phases of development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement novel statistical methods to address complex design and analysis challenges in clinical trials.
  • Provide expert consultation to project teams onadaptive design,Bayesianmethods,estimands, missing data, and other advanced statistical issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical scientists, data scientists, regulatory affairs, and programming teams to ensure methodological rigor in trial designs.
  • Lead or contribute to internal initiatives aimed at methodological innovation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Represent the company in external collaborations, working groups, and at scientific conferences.


Qualifications

  • PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO setting, but we can consider public/academic setting too
  • Strong foundation in statistical theory and its practical application to clinical research.
  • Demonstrated expertise in innovative trial designs, longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, or Bayesian statistics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
  • Proficient in statistical software such as R, SAS, or Python.
