This role goes beyond producing one-off, static reports and presentations. We are looking for someone who's passionate about enabling colleagues to have the data they need at the right time and place, in a format that provides insight and enables action. You will be innately curious and a strong self-starter – someone who asks the right questions, listens intently and collaborates with colleagues in the right way to deliver the insight that the business needs.

What you’ll do:

The Data Analyst- Product & Marketing role is responsible for analysing data to inform and optimise marketing and product strategies for our suite of products to support revenue growth. You will help the business to understand how our marketing efforts impact Squaredup’s product adoption, customer behaviour and revenue, by providing data driven insight.

You will understand the business; what matters and why, and help stakeholders make informed, data driven decisions.

Whilst reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, this role sits at the intersection of marketing and product.

  • Answer questions with precision and clarity to support decision-making
  • Track activation, retention, churn and other Product-Led Growth (PLG) metrics
  • Analyse website visitor metrics and the performance of channels such as organic and paid search to identify trends and measure effectiveness
  • Determine which channels and content drive engagement and growth
  • Integrate data from different marketing and product touchpoints to identify user behaviours
  • Produce source-of-truth journey maps to enlighten colleagues’ understanding
  • Create tailored & recurring reports for stakeholders across marketing and product teams using platforms like Looker and SquaredUp
  • Develop monitoring and workflows to ensure colleagues have the data they need in the time, place and format that supports their needs

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help

  • Some experience in a data analyst or related role (ideally in B2B Saas/Tech/software industry)
  • Demonstrable passion for data analytics, particularly marketing, product data analysis
  • Ideally you would have experience using
  • analytical tools such as SQL (BigQuery), GA4, Search Console, Google Ads, Amplitude, Salesforce
  • o Data visualization tools such as : Looker
