We are looking for a

Junior Marketing Data Analyst

to join in our

Wayfair UK London office . As an analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting data driven decision making by analyzing performance trends, market dynamics, and marketing investments. You'll take ownership of weekly market reports, help monitor key business metrics, and work closely with teams across the EU and US to ensure marketing efforts support broader company goals.

What You'll Do

Deliver Data-Driven Insights - Conduct comprehensive analyses of business performance, market trends, and competitive landscapes to uncover actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
Own Weekly Market Reporting - Take full ownership of the weekly market report synthesizing data into clear, concise insights that highlight key market movements and business implications.
Drive Strategic Problem-Solving - Identify critical business issues and opportunities proactively, quantify their impact, and communicate findings and data-backed recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
Monitor Key Business Metrics - Analyze core performance indicators such as traffic, revenue, and marketing investment to detect trends and surface opportunities for optimization and growth.
Forecast Marketing Investment - Manage and refine marketing spend forecasts across all channels, ensuring alignment between channel-level goals and overarching company ambitions.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelors degree in a quantitative field of study: math, sciences, engineering, economics, or business and OR be qualified by experience.
Strong quantitative analytics with a technical lean - ability to generate insights and solutions or build a story and strategy from large data sets. SQL / GBQ / Python / R knowhow is preferred
Strong business acumen, hunger for driving results and improvement-driven mindset - you quickly grasp KPIs and metrics, and constantly look for opportunities to improve performance
A total ownership mindset - ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with a dynamic bias for action and a “get stuff done” attitude
Excellent critical thinking and stakeholder management skills - ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners
Prior experience in digital marketing, management consulting, startup/tech, finance, and/or strategy with an analytical emphasis is a big plus
