Our Warsaw team is expanding, and this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing area of focus within our global organization. This Vice President level role focuses on building the Data and MI function within Markets booking model and trading mandate controls. This function will provide data-driven insights to enhance control effectiveness and proactively identify emerging risks.

Team/Role Overview

This role will support the development and implementation of the Data and MI function within Markets booking model and trading mandate controls, establishing robust data infrastructure, developing data analysis techniques, and generating actionable insights to enhance controls and identify emerging risks, including behavioural trends. Focus areas include:

  • Data Insights & Analysis: Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in trading activity/control output.
  • Behavioural Trend Analysis: Developing methodologies to detect behavioural trends indicating emerging risks.
  • Control Development Support: Providing data analysis to support the design and implementation of new/enhanced controls.
  • MI & Reporting: Building and maintaining MI packs and automated reporting processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practically minded candidate passionate about leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making within a growing team. Collaboration with Business, Technology, Market Risk, and Finance is essential.

What you’ll do
  • Support the development and implementation of the Data and MI function.
  • Establish robust data infrastructure and processes.
  • Develop and apply data analysis techniques.
  • Conduct behavioural trend analysis.
  • Support control design and enhancement.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive MI and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
What we’ll need from you
  • Core Skills: Advanced SQL, Excel, Tableau, MI reporting, functional analysis, and stakeholder management.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, ability to work independently, strong communication, and attention to detail.
  • Other: Undergraduate degree, VP-level experience, knowledge of global markets products and controls, effective negotiation skills, global mindset, and MS Office proficiency.
