Manager – IRB Quantitative Modeller, Corporate/Wholesale Banking

Our client is a key player within the UK banking sector, renowned for employee engagement and development, and known for hiring exceptional risk talent. They are seeking several Senior Analyst or Manager level credit risk modellers with experience in developing credit risk models within the wholesale credit space, specifically IRB models. Significant recent experience with IRB modelling under PRA/EBA rules is essential; candidates without this cannot be considered.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-profile, business-critical regulatory model development projects across various portfolios, liaising with senior stakeholders to meet business needs and resolve issues. You will provide technical guidance and support.

Candidates should be operating at an AVP or VP level with relevant experience in corporate/wholesale credit model development and/or validation within a bank, regulator, or consulting firm. Experience with retail, corporate, or commercial models is also of interest. Candidates involved only in validation and review cannot be considered.

On offer is an excellent compensation package, outstanding career prospects, and a flexible working culture, including the option of working overseas on client projects. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with their CV and a brief note describing their relevant experience.

We support diversity and encourage applicants from underrepresented groups. We welcome candidates who meet most of the requirements and are willing to consider those with relevant experience even if they do not meet all criteria. For any adjustments needed during the application process, please contact us.
