Overview

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Manager, Data Science to apply their deep expertise in analytics and machine learning to build solutions for our clients, as well as support our internal AI platforms. You will leverage your skills as a data science professional to analyze large data sets, create models and develop solutions to help resolve complex challenges for our clients across various industries.


Responsibilities

Your Impact

  1. Consult with clients to define business problems and advise on how to apply data science to solve those problems.
  2. Solve some of today’s most complex customer issues by designing, coding and implementing machine learning and AI solutions for our clients, or in support of our AI platforms.
  3. Collaborate and knowledge-share with your colleagues by sharing the latest research, new data science methods, technologies and thinking to optimize client solutions and outcomes as well as through detailed, constructive design and code reviews.
  4. Help establish rigorous standards in machine learning and statistical analysis to ensure consistency across projects and teams.
  5. Help to identify new opportunities within the data science space, and support the delivery of projects on time and to the highest possible standards.


Qualifications

Your skills and experience:

  1. PhD or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Strong foundational knowledge in data science and machine learning concepts, including regression, classification, unsupervised and self-supervised learning, NLG & NLP, computer vision, cross-validation, time series forecasting, and generative AI techniques.
  3. Proficiency in modern AI/ML tools and frameworks, including Python, PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Vertex AI, MLflow, and cloud-based ML platforms such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, and Google Cloud AI.
  4. Experience with production-scale AI/ML pipelines, including data exploration, feature engineering, model training and comparison, bias and fairness evaluation, explainability techniques (e.g., SHAP, LIME), MLOps best practices, and large-scale model deployment in cloud and hybrid environments.
  5. Demonstrable delivery experience using a wide variety of machine-learning techniques including classifiers, regression, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, NLP, and ensemble techniques.
  6. Experience with customer segmentation, behavior analysis, developing recommender systems, fraud analytics, personalization systems, and forecasting.
  7. Ability to work with data engineers to design/develop data-intensive solutions.
  8. The ability to translate complex solutions into well-structured and simple recommendations.
  9. Experience with solution design and development, quality assurance and testing, data visualization and prototyping.
  10. Experience working in client-facing projects with a strong focus on collaboration.
  11. Strong communication skills.
